on holiday

hi hi hiiiii. sorry I haven't been updating. I hope you guys are all doing G-R-E-A-T. I took the last week off blogging. It's important to allow yourself to unplug once in a while and not feel guilty about it. As a blogger/content creator I'm working 24/7.  It's honestly exhausting. Balancing the full time job (& killin' it none the less), making sure the blog has content everyday, making sure Instagram is always poppin, making sure to Snapchat, making sure to Instagram story, making sure to floss, making sure my impressions stay lit on Twitter so my stats don't go down on my media press kit , making sure I'm always creating new content for the next week, making sure to call my parents...you get the point I'm always on the clock.

I'm not complaining.

I'm just saying being a workaholic and being proud of your work is amazing! but also knowing when to take a break and ENJOY the time off is also just as important. don't take a break and give yourself anxiety. we live in a culture where we pride ourselves how late we stay in the office.

really enjoy not checking your phone for stats and likes and social media for a couple of days.

I spent the last week just chillin. not trippin' about my blog. not worry about what I'm posting next. going to dinners. I didn't work out. went to hennypalooza. layed around. went to bed every night with a peaceful headspace about being present / thinking about all the things I'm grateful for vs. counting how many hours of sleep I'm about to get and all the things I needed to do.

It was really nice. you should try it sometime.

but I'm back now...back to the grind.

I wanted to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving + holiday weekend. Thank-you for being apart of this journey with me. Thank-you for all the support, the likes, the checking in, the emails. You guys are magic. Don't ever forget that.

Sending you lots of love.

Talk soon.
