Simple Steps For Healthy, Glowing Skin Part 1

At 23, I finally came around to the idea of sun block.

Sun block has such a negative stigma in my mind... here are a few thoughts/examples:

+ the texture is sticky … I have to rub for a really long time … there’s always residue on me because I am so lazy and just want to jump into the pool/ocean A$AP

+ it smells

+ my skin & clothes are greasy

+ my acne prone face is oily and looks like I am heavily sweating & this is eventually cause me to break out **Extra NO NO

+ I want to tan and this will prevent me from getting color (don’t judge ok)

+ I can’t use my body sun block for my face? I have to bring two? blahhh

+ re-apply SUCKS…sand is mixed into my sun block now & it’s everywhere

Now: 2013 Thu

What we should think of when "sun block" pops in our head a.k.a the many benefits:

+ healthy glowing skin (IS THIS NOT ENOUGH FOR US TO JUST LATHER ON THE SUN BLOCK?)

+ age-less skin – wrinkle free- sunspots free ( AGAIN, COME ON??? )

+ CAN I STRESS THIS ANYMORE? YOU’LL LOOK YEARS YOUNGER IF YOU ARE PROACTIVE NOW AND TAKE REALLY GOOD CARE OF YOUR SKIN

Ok, ok… so… I’ve been living life on the edge (no- I was just ignorant & poorly educated on the many wonderful benefits of sun block) for 23 years… but it’s never too late to take charge of your life.. especially your health!

So here I am today…wanting us both to commit to protecting our skin & being educated about all the different ways we can do it.
